PageIQ is a Chrome browser extension built and maintained by aPowers Media. This privacy policy explains how PageIQ handles data when you use the extension.

Data Collection

PageIQ does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, browsing data, or page content of any kind.

All analysis performed by PageIQ runs entirely locally within your browser. When you open the extension on a webpage, the tool reads on-page elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, headings, links, images, and structured data directly from the page you are currently viewing. This information is displayed to you within the extension interface and is never sent to any external server, database, or third party.

Permissions

PageIQ requests the following Chrome permissions:

Active Tab – Required to read the on-page content of the tab you are currently viewing.

Scripting – Required to inject the analysis script into the current page to extract SEO data.

Storage – Required to save user preferences including theme selection, nofollow link toggle, and default tab setting so settings persist across sessions.

These permissions are used solely to provide the core functionality of the extension. No permission is used to track, monitor, or collect user data.

External Tool Links

PageIQ includes links to third-party SEO tools including Ahrefs, Semrush, Ubersuggest, Moz, Google PageSpeed Insights, and others. Clicking these links opens the respective third-party website in a new browser tab. PageIQ has no control over and takes no responsibility for the privacy practices of these external services. Users should review the privacy policies of any third-party tools they choose to use.

Data Sharing

aPowers Media does not sell, rent, trade, or share any data collected through PageIQ with any third party. No data is collected, therefore none can be shared.

Children’s Privacy

PageIQ is intended for use by marketing professionals, SEO practitioners, and web developers. The extension is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect information from minors.
